1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by The Gallery Hairdressing Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”) at our salon and via our website www.thegallerytw.co.uk. By booking an appointment or receiving any services from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Appointments and Cancellations
  • We encourage advance booking to ensure availability.
  • Appointments can be altered up to 48 hours before the scheduled time without penalty.
  • Cancellations within 48 hours incur a fee: 25% of the appointment cost for cancellations within 48 hours, 50% within 24 hours, and 100% for no-shows or cancellations on the day of the appointment. These fees are charged to the card used to book the appointment.
  • Failure to attend without notice or late cancellations will result in 100% of the service charge.
  • Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have to reschedule or receive a reduced service.
3. Patch Testing and Health Information
  • A patch test is required at least 48 hours before colour treatments. We encourage this be done at the same time as a complimentary conversation around your style wishes or at the same time as a cut and finish appointment.
  • It is your responsibility to inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities that may affect your service.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service if we believe it may compromise your safety or wellbeing.
4. Pricing and Payment
  • All prices are inclusive of VAT and are listed on our website and in the salon.
  • Prices may vary depending on hair length, service complexity, or stylist level.
  • Full payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, debit, and credit cards.
5. Refunds and Service Satisfaction
  • If you are not satisfied with a service, please notify us within 7 days so we can offer a correction or solution.
  • Refunds are not offered for completed services but re-dos may be offered at our discretion.
6. Gift Vouchers
  • Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Lost or expired vouchers will not be reissued.
7. Personal Belongings
  • We are not liable for the loss or damage of personal items while on the premises.
  • Please keep valuables with you at all times.
8. Children and Guests
  • Children are welcome, but must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.
  • For health and safety reasons, we may limit the number of accompanying guests in the salon.
9. Website Use
  • You agree not to misuse our website or attempt to access unauthorised data.
  • Content on our website is for general information only and may change without notice.
10. Limitation of Liability
  • We take every care to deliver services safely and professionally.
  • However, The Gallery Hairdressing Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our services.
11. Privacy and Data Protection
  • Your personal information is handled in line with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy.
  • We will never share your personal data without your consent unless legally required.
12. Changes to Terms
  • We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website.
  • Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
